WebMar 26, 2007 · This beast is heavy. It weighs in at 9 lbs. 5.5 oz. This is due to the fact that it's made of plywood and it's 1 7/8 in. thick. My plan is to hollow it out from the back and make black plastic covers to cover the chambers. Another part of the plan is to do all this without repainting the guitar.
