WebBrotherhood has the better plot, and ending I feel, but I firmly believe that 2003 has better characterization. They both have completely different feels (both emotion-wise and overall show personality). I also really enjoyed how 2003 did the whole "other side of the gate" thing. It was unique and enjoyable.
