At first, the Red Tail was in the tank with an Albino Rainbow Shark and it was picking on the Rainbow to the point it constantly stayed in a plant and wouldn't come out. The Rainbow was given to someone else and then a new Red Tail was introduced to the tank hoping that it wouldn't be so aggressive.

In other words, if the water is bad, if the fish is sick, if he's scared or stressed, etc. And in my experience this has been the case. However, his dorsal fin is looking a little ragged today.
